Goatriders of the Apocalypse

Not a bad day considering

There's an old adage in sports that a tie is like kissing your sister.  But today's tie with the Chisox featured a stubborn Cubs team that wouldn't put it's tail between it's legs and take a loss.  Not once but twice the Cubs came back from deficits, the last one being a seemingly insurmountable three-run White Sox lead.  Jermaine Dye sent the Chisox faithful hurtling toward the vomitoriums when he committed a tenth-inning error, which is how the Cubs tied the game.

The Cubs got contributions from some guys that need to contribute - Derrek Lee had two hits including a triple and Fukudome was two for four.  Felix Pie also ponied up with two hits, an RBI and a run scored.

Kevin Hart and Scott Eyre almost cost us the game with poor pitching performances; at this stage of the game I would be inclined to keep Pigniatello on the 25 man and send Hart down.  Hart has seen his ERA balloon to 7.00 and Eyre is starting out this season like he did in 2007.  Word is that the Cubs will announce their 25 man roster and rotation on Monday.
