This will the the shortest Recap of the season.  I'd worked my way through the entire damned thing, recappin' like a fool, saying funny things about the Cardinals, when I lost the entire fricking post.

I'm pretty sure it's my fault though, and not Drupal's.  But still.  DAMN.

Anyway, the Cubs won.  As I predicted, the Cubs lit up PJ Walters who displayed moments of dominance.  Carlos also alternated between moments of looking very good and looking very bad.

Pretty much every Cub got a hit, even Geovany Soto who knocked in an RBI.  Aramis got 3, driving in 3 runs, but the biggest hit of the night came from Alfonso Soriano who hit a 2-run, game winning homerun in the 8th inning.  That's the second huge homer by Soriano this season, who will hopefully be making a habit out of it.

Game Three of Four is tomorrow; I have a pretty good feeling about how Dempster will pitch.  Sorry for the brevity, I'll try to make up for it with an Epic GameCast.
