I saw this advertised on Cubs.com and had to click on the link. The MLB shop wants $80, but Amazon is selling it for $44.
Mine has been ordered and I'm counting down the minutes until it comes... I'm so jazzed. I've never seen "The Sandberg Game."
The DVD includes full game telecasts of:
- "The Sandberg Game" June 14, 1984 in which Ryno hit two home runs off of Bruce Sutter
- Kerry Wood's 20 strikeout game
- Game #1 of the 1984 NLCS in which the Cubs won 13-0 over the Padres, and Rick Sutcliffe hit a homerun.
- Game #2 of the 1989 NLDS. The Cubs beat the Giants and Mark Grace went 3 for 4 with 4 RBI
- Greg Maddux's 300th win.
- Sammy Sosa's home runs #61 and 62 in 1998.
- Andre Dawson hitting three home runs in 1987.
- Derrek Lee going 5 for 5 in 2005 with a homer and 4 RBI.
Amazon also mentions that there are some bonus features in addition to the eight games above.

Amazon.com to the rescue!
I'm going to have to seriously consider buying this... from Amazon.com, of course. Gotta love those great discounts.
A few years back, I went and purchased a couple of games through MLB.com, including Wood's 20-strikeout game. However, with the way the files were set up then, with licenses stored in small, hard to find files on the computer, I quickly lost the ability to play them.
Then, after the debacle with trying to pre-purchase Maddux's 300th win (they advertised paying now, then you'd get his 300th win, whenever it was... I got his first attempt, which he didn't win, rather than actual #300), calling MLB.com to try and get it fixed, and never getting it fixed, I gave up on buying games.
Most of that stuff I've either never seen or would've been too young to remember, so it looks like a great collection. And my wife still wants to see the Kerry Wood 20-strikeout game.
Hot damn
I ordered mine yesterday, thanks for the heads-up Byron. I started taping the K. Wood 20K game halfway through but I haven't seen tho whole game since I watched it live. Good stuff!
Sandberg game
I wasn't born until 4 years after the sandberg game. But I've seen it on ESPN classic at least.
